Plateau Inec commissioner, staff’s escape from office as I Mark L.Jock accompanied PDP Gubernatorial candidate Gen JT Useini Rtd and thousands of PDP faithfuls across the state storm Inec office

Mild drama occurred at the state Inec office Jos today when the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in plateau state  Gen JT Useini Rtd, state PDP chairman DT Sango, members elect of B/Ladi, Riyom Hon Dr Simon Mwadkon,Hon Musa Bagos,Hon ID Gyang,Hon Bar Edward Pwajok SAN,Prof Dimis Mailafia DG campaigns led many other thousands of party faithfuls to storm Inec office Jos and demand the declaration of results of last Saturday elections in plateau state.

The exercise witnesses heavy turnout causing traffic across the major roads in Jos.

The admosphere became charge went army personnel attached to the Inec office attempted to prevent the protesters from coming close to the gate, leaders douse the tension by calling for calm from the supporters.

Inec is yet to release the results of the Senatorial elections in Plateau central zone and Northern zone,and that of Panshin,Kanke,Kanam federal constituency,Bassa,Jos North.this angered the party considering the wide margin and victory recorded in this election and the silents of Inec on the matter

Observers believe Gov Lalong is responsible for the delay of the said results,he has kept constant communication with the state residents commissioner Mr Halilu Pai and put him under intense pressure to announce his party APC winners despite losing woefully,a situation security agencies across the state have kick against sensing the sensitive and volatile nature of plateau and the zones concern respectively.

The coming days will be interesting considering that Atiku defeated President Buhari in plateau state in the just concluded presidential elections.
